Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Powur Dial collects, uses, stores, and protects data on behalf of platform tenants and the consumers their AI agents call.

1. Data We Collect

From tenants: account credentials, contact information, billing information, lead lists you upload, campaign configuration, and reported business outcomes for revenue share invoicing.

From calls placed by your AI: call audio recordings, transcripts, call metadata (duration, outcome, timestamps), AI conversation analysis, and consumer responses to qualification questions captured during the call.

From SMS sent by your campaign: message content, delivery status, opt-out events, and consumer reply messages.

2. How We Use Data

  • To operate the calling platform and deliver booked appointments to you.
  • To detect voicemail, no-answer, and live human conversations on calls.
  • To improve AI script performance through anonymized analysis (no personally identifying information is shared with third parties for product improvement).
  • To bill subscriptions and revenue share accurately.
  • To comply with legal requests, regulatory obligations, and dispute resolution.

3. Call Recordings & Retention

All calls are recorded for quality assurance, compliance monitoring, and AI training. Recordings are stored encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption.

Retention periods:

  • Standard tenant call recordings: 12 months minimum.
  • Industries with regulatory retention requirements (insurance-related industries operating in regulated states): retained per the longer of platform default or regulatory minimum.
  • SMS records: 12 months minimum.
  • Demo call recordings (initiated through the website): 30 days for product improvement, then deleted.

Tenants may request deletion of specific recordings or full account data deletion at any time, subject to legal and regulatory holds. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days unless overridden by ongoing legal obligation.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell tenant data or consumer call data to third parties. We share data only with:

  • Telephony providers (Twilio) to deliver calls and SMS.
  • AI infrastructure providers (Retell AI) to operate the voice agent.
  • Cloud infrastructure providers for storage and processing.
  • Payment processors (Stripe) for billing.
  • Legal authorities when compelled by valid legal process.

Each subprocessor is bound by a data processing agreement governing handling of tenant data.

5. Consumer Rights (CCPA / Comparable State Laws)

Consumers in California and other states with comparable privacy laws have rights including:

  • The right to know what data has been collected about them.
  • The right to request deletion of personal data.
  • The right to opt out of automated calls and SMS.
  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

Consumers can exercise these rights by contacting support@powurdial.com or by replying STOP to any SMS message from a Powur Dial campaign to opt out.

6. Tenant Responsibility for Lead Data

Tenants are the data controllers of the lead lists they upload. Tenants are responsible for ensuring leads were obtained with appropriate consent and that consumers have not previously requested removal from their list. Powur Dial acts as a data processor in this relationship, providing the platform that operates on the tenant's lead data per the tenant's campaign configuration.

7. Security

All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Access to tenant data within Powur Dial is restricted to authorized personnel, audit-logged, and reviewed regularly. Industry standard security practices apply, including role-based access control, principle of least privilege, and incident response procedures.

8. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to tenants by email and posted here with an updated “Last updated” date.
